We also welcome teen volunteers. Currently, we have <strong>Lilly, Sydney and Brook<\/strong>.\u00a0 If you have a few hours a month and would like to volunteer on a regular basis, come into the library and talk with us about how you might help.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently working on indexing the obituaries from the Granville Sentinel. Working backward, we have completed the index to <del>1932<\/del> 1898 with over 25, 000 entries. Any help with this project will be greatly appreciated.\u00a0 See the Local History page for more information.<\/p>\n<h4>Other ways you can help:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>read for story hour<\/li>\n<li>gather craft materials for story hours<\/li>\n<li>shelve books<\/li>\n<li>repair items<\/li>\n<li>provide reviews of books you have read to be shared with library patrons or added to the blog<\/li>\n<li>read shelves (place items in correct Dewey Decimal order and check for out-of-order items)<\/li>\n<li>face shelves (straighten books on shelves by bringing them to the front of shelves and tightening the book ends)<\/li>\n<li>find books and set up for monthly themes<\/li>\n<li>be a parent adviser for the Teen Book Club<\/li>\n<li>put newspaper items and event advertising in the library scrapbook<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Books on Wheels:<\/h4>\n<p>This service is\u00a0provided by the Friends of the Pember Library. Homebound patrons may request items to be delivered to them.
